2012 .....The New Y2K?

I find it hard to believe it has been 10 years , since all the hysteria over the year changing to 2000. Remember we were all supposed to either die at midnight or the world would be thrown into darkness and all power , bank accounts, and anything else connected to a computer would be lost.
Thankfully MySpace Twitter, and FaceBook were not yet created or there would have been mass panic had we lost any status updates.

Now we have the new Y2K, which is 2012. As we all know the calendar we all live by runs out at 2012 and thus many doomsayers are saying the world will obviously end then also. The phrase "get a life" suddenly comes to mind :)

If even the Son of God does not know the date of His return, I don't believe a group of ancient guys building a calendar know. They probably just got tired LOL

Anyway , it is a new year and such a busy year this will be for me.
The main theme I see is how many trips I will be making to South East Asia, particularly the Pacific Rim area. I will leave in about 10 days for the Philippines. This will be a trip of both business and pleasure. Interestingly , both could have major impacts on my future.
